Shaneen Parikh Joins Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as Partner, International Arbitration
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM) has appointed Shaneen Parikh as a Partner in its Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in International Arbitration. She will be based in Mumbai and takes up the role on 17 August 2026.
Parikh joins from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, where she was Partner and Head, International Arbitration. She is a dual qualified Advocate and Solicitor with over three decades of experience in complex disputes, most carrying a cross-border dimension.

Her credentials span several jurisdictions. She is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, an Advocate on Record before the Supreme Court of India, and a Registered Foreign Lawyer at the Singapore International Commercial Court. She is also registered with the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts and the Dubai International Financial Centre.
That spread, England and Wales, India, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, is not common even among senior Indian arbitration practitioners. It gives SAM a partner who can appear across several of the jurisdictions Indian clients most often end up in when a dispute crosses borders.
The appointment adds a senior, internationally credentialed name to SAM's Dispute Resolution bench, at a time when cross-border arbitration work continues to concentrate in a small set of full-service Indian firms.
