Nikki Krisadtyo has joined King & Spalding from WilmerHale, reuniting with Gary Born and other partners and lawyers that made the same move in recent months.
He brings more than a decade of legal experience in Indonesia and the UK and is one of a small number of practitioners in the UK being dual-qualified in England & Wales and Indonesia with extensive Indonesian experience.
His practice focuses on commercial and investment disputes, advising multinational corporations, state-owned entities, and sovereign states. He notably served as an expert in the successful constitutional review of Indonesia's arbitration law, where he provided testimony on the English Arbitration Act. He is recognized as a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters’ Asian Legal Business and ranked as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation.
Beyond his practice, Nikki plays a prominent role in the legal profession and in strengthening UK-Indonesia legal ties. He is an elected Council Member of the Law Society of England and Wales and serves as President of the British Indonesian Lawyers Association.
Earlier this year, he travelled to Indonesia alongside Gary Born, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen connections with the Southeast Asian region. Further trips to the region are planned.
