Drew & Napier LLC will host a seminar titled "India-Singapore Legal Bridge: Enabling Growth, Investment and Effective Dispute Resolution in a Changing Global Economy" on Friday, 28 August 2026, from 2.00pm to 7.00pm Singapore time, at the firm's office at 10 Collyer Quay, 11th Floor, Ocean Financial Centre, Singapore. The seminar is organised in collaboration with the General Counsels' Association of India (GCAI) and forms part of the official line-up for Singapore Convention Week 2026, the annual gathering that brings dispute resolution institutions, practitioners and in-house counsel from across the region to Singapore. The programme is built around the India-Singapore legal corridor, which has grown alongside the two countries' expanding trade, investment and technology ties. The seminar will bring together speakers with direct experience advising on transactions and disputes that cross the two jurisdictions, alongside a broader discussion of Singapore's position as a gateway into ASEAN for Indian businesses and investors. The seminar is structured in two parts. The first half will consist of speaker-led sessions on the legal frameworks supporting India-Singapore trade, investment and finance. The second half will run on what the organisers describe as the Tylney Method, an interactive format that combines in-person and online participation through pre-submitted questions and moderated, discussion-style exchanges, rather than a conventional panel format. Both in-person attendees at Ocean Financial Centre and online participants will be able to take part in that portion of the programme. The seminar is free to attend and open to legal practitioners, in-house counsel, business leaders and others with an interest in India-Singapore and ASEAN cross-border investment and dispute resolution. Registration is open at the link circulated by Drew & Napier. Drew & Napier is one of Singapore's largest full-service law firms, with a dedicated India Practice Group advising on corporate transactions and disputes involving India and the wider region. The firm has hosted India-focused dispute resolution events before, including sessions convened with the India International Arbitration Centre during past editions of Singapore Convention Week. GCAI, for its part, represents in-house counsel and general counsel across Indian industry, and has been a regular participant in Singapore-India legal dialogues in recent years. The seminar adds to what has become a busy calendar of India-focused programming at Singapore Convention Week, reflecting sustained interest among Singapore-based institutions and law firms in deepening ties with Indian counsel, corporates and general counsel as cross-border activity between the two jurisdictions continues to grow.
